Born and raised in Israel, I grew up on a Middle Eastern diet, which means a lot of fresh salads, hummus, rice and lentils with your meals. It all started when I was about 13 and I had the biggest crush on actor named River Phoenix who was a Vegan, so what does a silly teen girl do? She copies her idol and stops eating meat. I was a vegetarian for well over 20 years but I still had a big sweet tooth and couldn’t give up my craving for chocolate and sweets.
I knew at a young age that I didn’t like to eat animal products but I didn’t know then how eating healthy, less processed food can change the way you look and feel so much. Struggling to maintain my fluctuating weight and having low energy and fatigue, I discovered that eliminating eggs, honey & dairy my diet completely allowed me to maintain and lose weight without restriction. Being the food lover that I am - I decided to help others on their own journey through healthy eating and cooking so I rolled up my sleeves, made a big fun mess in my kitchen and became a certified plant-based chef and vegan pastry chef with Rouxbe cooking school (yes, I still enjoy my sweets).
I’m here to help guide and inspire you on your plant-based health journey. Whether you’re new to the vegan lifestyle or you are already a vegan who wishes to try new tasty foods, I am always happy to hear from you and share my tips and experience. I promise you it will taste so good - your family won’t even tell that it's vegan!
I am also the organizer of the
Lancaster Vegan Meetup Group, which is a great place for like-minded people to learn more about this lifestyle. I am available for group and private booking of cooking lessons and demos.
